It was a huge downgrade in several ways, and doesn't contain the full story of either game. Dude this is the game I have most wanted a fan translation patch for. He seems very interested in continuing to work on the console. I've played through both and loved them both, but I've always wanted to introduce others to these games. They're not as highly regarded as the PS1 games, but it'd be nice to have them all for the sake of completion. Such nice sprite work, really great it's getting a fan-translation.

The second anime series features brand new characters, along with some of the old ones. Never heard of this series before, but it looks very charming and right up my alley. The first anime series of Popolocrois Story was released in 1998, and the story is based immediately after the first PlayStation game PoPoLoCrois Monogatari and before the Poporogue game. We did get a PSP game that was sort of 1&2 cut to ribbons and smashed together but believe me it doesn't hold a candle to the original.
